Every great artist starts somewhere, and for many of Gaston County’s students, that somewhere is a classroom with a teacher who believes in the power of creativity to change a life.

Art teachers in Gaston County work every day to give their students something irreplaceable: the experience of making something from nothing, of expressing what words can’t say, of discovering that they are capable of more than they imagined. But too often, they do this work with limited budgets, depleted supplies, and the quiet hope that somehow, the materials will stretch just a little further.

The Great Gaston Art Supply Drive is our answer to that hope.

The Gaston Arts Council is collecting art supplies and donations to replenish the classrooms of Gaston County’s art teachers – ensuring that every student who walks through those doors has access to the materials they need to create, explore, and grow.

💛 Donate funds: Every dollar goes directly toward purchasing art supplies for Gaston County classrooms
